Production Companies - Bailey May

Young blood
To make there production company effect, they put a CD under running water which created these mysterious light affects seen in the pictures below.
The shot was taken in one continuous shot to see the development of the spirals and colours becoming more prominent.
It is unsure whether or not they used photoshop to enhance the colours because i imagine it would be hard to capture these eccentric colours with such a crisp finish.

Here is when it first appears on the colour of the light is quit bright and doesn't have such a distinct spiral effect as the other pictures present.
This comes into the picture the same time as some non-diegetic smoothing music is played which conforms to the flowing of the water on lights.

In this picture, the spirals of the water stream and the light become more prominent than before portraying the building tension which is going to follow in the filming opening. Additionally, the fact the music is still the same pace adds to the unease feel created by the openings plot.

In this last picture, we see the spirals in both streams being most prominent which reflects the climatic end of the opening. Still the music is moderately paced and mellow which produces an eerie sinister effect.

Their created production company is a spiral mist moving to the left of the screen which then turns into writing.
To create the production companies name and title they used Adobe Photoshop and then added it on to the end of their computerised mist.
Then in final Cut Pro they edited it so they didn't look like two different things, instead they faded them together so they ran fluently into one another.
Therefore creating a fluent transition of two separate clips to create one for their production company using Final cut Pro and Adobe Photoshop
