• Large areas of woodland - an "everyday" setting (UNKNOWN DANGER)
• Uncivilized areas - any buildings are derelict and run down (ISOLATED)
• No clear path (DISORIENTATING)
• Symbols hanging from trees (SUPERNATURAL)

Mama (2013)

• Set in winter - the snow obscures things (UNKNOWN, ISOLATION, DEATH)
• Large expanse of woodland (UNKNOWN DANGER)
• No clear path (DISORIENTATING)
• Frozen lake and lack of wildlife (ISOLATED, SUPERNATURAL, EERIE)

For our location we will try to use an isolated area of woodland with few or no close buildings and no obvious landmarks. This will help with the atmosphere of our work by creating an eerie, supernatural feeling.
