Dark Castle Entertainment is a division of Silver Pictures, a production house formerly affiliated with Warner Bros., now affiliated with Universal Studios. It was formed in 1999 by Joel Silver, Robert Zemeckis, and Gilbert Adler. It was created at the start to produce horror films and heres a list of recent horror films:

Ghost House Productions
Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert’s production shingle has handled all different kinds of horror fare.The duo, who clearly made their careers in the horror genre, continue to work in the genre through this company, which allows them to work on smaller fare, now that Raimi almost exclusively works in the big budget, tent pole realm.Previous films include:

Rogue Pictures
Rogue pictures is a secondary company having being bought by Relativity media. At the time of purchase in 2008 the company at a dozen titles under its belt.They have a variety of genres with horror making up a significant amount. Previous films include:

Twisted pictures
Twisted pictures is a American independent production company, mainly creating films of the horror genre. The company was founded in 2004 by Evolution Entertainment's Mark Burg, Oren Koules and Gregg Hoffman. Previous films include:
- Saw
- Saw II-VI
- Saw 3D
- Dead Silence
- The Tortured
- Mother’s Day
This research into minor production companies was very useful as our film steers a little from the current trends being set by the major conglomerate production companies so our product may be better suited to be distributed by a minor production company.
