Filming Evaluation
We filmed a lot of our desired clips because we had the correct actors and the location and lighting were good. We didn't have the makeup to film the shots of possessed girl. As a result of this we decided to film all shots where makeup wasn't needed which made us more productive on the clips we were doing.
This gave us a good advantage to focus our skills on filming our more difficult shots which needed different and complex camera angles to form what we had planned for in our storyboard and filming script. For example the shots with the running dog and protagonist running after the dog took a lot of our time and it was almost a good thing Gemma had forgotten the makeup on that day.
We were fortunate with the weather as it wasn't raining and it wasn't so light that it had a negative effect on our filming as it low light forest gave our shots a sinister edge which we were fortunate to have been filming in. More specifically the woods and the trees that formed that forest helped with our mise-en-scene as they provided a cynical edge to our shots with them being eroded, leafless and a horrible grey colour. However, the tree which we did the possession scene with was big, thick and cover in green ivy which stood out as the anomaly which gave us the incentive to film the possession due to the subtleness of the possession.
